My name is Pauline Genevieve Turner. I was born in 1919, in London, England. I have a younger sister named Eileen Elizabeth Turner who was born in 1927, in London, England. Our father was murdered in 1928 because of his work in the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), otherwise known as MI6 (Military Intelligence, Section 6), and our mother committed suicide soon after, not wanting to live without our father and thus leaving me to care for my infant sister. During WWII I went to Bermuda for college and to work as a censor for the BSC (British Security Coordination), a branch of SIS, while back in England my sister was evacuated to the country with other school children so they would be safer and out of the way.
